______Vanilla Mood is a Japanese instrumental quartet that consists of four talented musicians playing the flute (Waka), violin (Yui and, sometimes, Emilee), cello (Mariko), and piano (Keiko). In a fusion of classical, pop, and jazz, Vanilla Mood expresses their passion for music through self-composed, pop-flavored songs, jazzed-up classical favorites, and well-known Japanese folk melodies.

Oh. Thanks for the link! (:

I think Sasayakanaru has more though.
J-pop with classical instruments. rolleyes Interesting...
stare Dude. Was that sarcasm?
I watched the Day by Day MV on youtube. Who does the vocals for the song? They don't seem very classical. sad They certainly do play classical instruments but the pieces are classical pieces. Does that mean they're crossover (ewww. a term I dislike because critics usually use it with a negative connotation [sp?])?
Huh, looks interesting. Though if I ever see someone try to dance like that while playing instruments, I think I will be forced to smack them. It looks like they're having seizures.

Also, if you like them, you might want to try to search for another band called Kanon. I saw them perform when I was in Tokyo a couple years ago. Japanese instruments and jazz, it's a lot of fun.
