Mozart vs. Beethoven

I think we have all established that they were both geniuses. It doesn't take much to figure that out. It's more about personal preference. I prefer beethoven, though both are amazing. It's like there's more drama in his works. More excitement. He also did some of his pieces with he was deaf, which sort of earns him bonus points.

i've always said "beethoven wrote the best music, but mozart was the best composer". i love the two equally, but for difference reasons. i don't think the two can really be compared at all. D:

BEETHOVEN.
i say he has achieved a lot more things (musicality wise) than mozart. sure mozart was a genius when i came to modulations and such, but beethoven ******** created romanticism AND it sparked a flame for atonal music. his 7th was a gateway to classical jizzland. composers after him tried to copy his style numerous times before brahms kicked in with is 1st (aka beethoven's 10th) and it was still debated whether if it was good enough to be called the beethoven's 10th. in addition, beethoven did this with his ******** up ears. omfg. beethoven is simply a baller. every one of his pieces r orgasm to my ears.

Beethoven. I like Mozart but Beethoven just beets him when you compare those two. Beethoven is an insparation for me.

Beethoven is the figurehead of those moving from the classical period to the romantic, so definitely him. Plus, the music written in his deafer years was so dramatic and grand, and easy for everyone to listen to.

They're both equally great.
But I definitely prefer Mozart.
I love Mozart's Concerto For Flute and Harp.
