Ha, yeah, was Hekla the volcano, or the geyser? I remember my prof. made us listen to one of those off youtube for 20th century class. He was doing some research on Jon Leifs, whom he made the case for being the loudest classical composer of all time.

I bought a copy of the scores to the organ concerto, and his varizioni pastorale last year. They're so diametrically opposite that you can't help at chuckle at how much range this guy had.

I only know Hekla, his huge work for orchestra about the volcano (there are tree stumps to be thrown across the room, I seem to recall). That says enough for me razz
