This forum, as you can see, is for the purpose of discussing music in the the genres of Classical, Jazz, and Blues. For example, topics about the music of Beethoven, Gershwin and Ella Fitzgerald would all be welcome here. This forum is not, however, for the purpose of discussing classic rock. If you are looking for a discussion about Guns 'n' Roses, you should visit the official thread found here in the main music forum.

Spamming:
Please also be aware that the Music forum and all of its subforums are designed to be a place for discussion in relationship to music. If you make a thread, for example, that lists "X band" in the title, but the body is nothing more than a string of emoticons, it will likely be moved to the Chatterbox.

Repeat threads:
Threads that are repeats of an official thread will be recycled! Check out the Official Thread Listing to avoid making a duplicate thread.

Flaming
Please be respectful of other users when posting. If you flame another user in a thread here you will be warned and possibly banned. There is zero tolerance regarding flaming for any reason.

"Instrument" threads
Keep in mind that this forum is only for discussion of other people's works. We realize that many Gaians are also talented musicians, but want to remind you all that this is not the place to discuss your instrument or your own band. If you want to discuss your own work, please check out the Musician's forum! heart
