Beethoven rocks! Mozart was a genius, but for myself his pieces don't touch my heart the way Beethoven's do.

It is really hard to compare the two. Mozart was what a Classical artist is defined as for his music, music that contained form and kept the "classical" way of thinking. Beethoven, on the other hand, helped to usher in the Romantic Era style of composing, so his music takes more twists and turns because he created pieces based on his "rebellious" state towards society during that time.

Each one is great in their own right, so I cannot decide who was a better composer.

There really isn't a right answer. I personally like Beethoven better, but Mozart was a wonderful composer.

Removed Suicide Club animation due to a mod telling me it was too big in file size.
Hmm. Well, there really isn't a "better" composer when it comes to Beethoven and Mozart. I really like them equally. I enjoy the spontaneous and (sometimes) erratic spikes in notes that Mozart used (which were pretty audacious for his time) but I also like the thunderous notes that Beethoven used. They were both amazing composers and should be respected equally. =D

Pm's and comments make me feel good.

Comparing Beethoven and Mozart is hard enough already, don't you think?

Ooh...It's really hard to choose, I like Beethoven since then I was child and Mozart, I was touched by his music just not long time ago=)It's really really hard, but yet for me Beethoven more familiar and close to my heart

Music is subjective. Each composer has their own unique style.

i prefer beethoven more passion

umm i like beethoven

Chose both, it'll make you a better person. besides, you never know, you may end up liking one of them more than the other while we're suggesting that you listen to the other.

I prefer Beethoven over Mozart.

Both were wonderfully great minds.

There really is no "better" when it comes to composers. It's a matter of preference. That being said, both men were very influential in the music world.
