Charles Ives' Fourth Symphony uses that hymn- check it out if you are bored? It's kinda crazy, but I know a lot of people who really really like it.

I love Ives... My friend thinks I'm weird because I think the "Unanswered Question" is heartbreaking -- she just thinks it's dissonant.
