Well when I mentioned we talked about improving the clan it was all here on this thread and no clan was made at first. Earlier on a Clan was made with the exact same title as this thread. However since the captain of that clan was neither Harognoth or active for the most part that clan died quickly since that captain didn't accept anyone.

Sorry if I mislead you but there was indeed another clan. It was that failed attempt to cause us to make another. One with an active captain, vice captains, and crew.

Understandable. That's all I'll need for the history part of your guy's section.

Could you please tell me about the clan in general? As in how it works, how it feels towards outsiders, and its policies?

Well we are Rp based for the most part so really enjoy others who like to write well. We also enjoy plot twists and ironies and all that good story stuff. There is a thread in the clan purely for character stories and one for character drawings. In retrospect we only we really have 5 non RP base threads but we don't discourage others placing topics up.

Part of our policy is that you have to be a dark elf to join. That goes without saying but since our Clan is open to the public we don't stop people from posting in our threads. We just like those who are at least willing to show some basic literacy. But I will get back to that in a moment.

We have a few Sub-forums that I would like to mention. At the start of the entire clan Harognoth had placed an army, royal family, church and the option of being a citizen until you picked fro the three. We still liked the idea and so we have sub-forums for the army and the church. However since we couldn't pick a royal family I suggested a college instead. This way members can choose without asking for permission and have more options. The college is where members can be in both in the army or the church as well being in college. It just doesn't make sense to be a member of being in the army and church so the college was a good limbo for the two.

We also have a sub-forum for the RP called the capitol city where a Pub, owned by Pen, is the main location. However the forum allows other locations as topics to expand the RP and diversify the environments.

We are a dark elf clan but it so happens we were contacted by another clan. A clan of vampires wanted to to start a RP with us where or clans fought. We accepted and the comradely has been growing ever since. Their clan is also open as well so we post in their clan and they post in ours. One of their members has been recently been active in our Clan RP and we are enjoying his role in our family.

So really we are have a open door policy fro the most part. However if we find that a person isn't being active or posting in the txt language we will send warnings before cutting the person loose. We are not a very heavy handed group but the reason we moved into the clan is for the avoidance of money grubbing gaians in for posting for some quick gold. We help those who are new to RPing and try to have the atmosphere stay nice and light to encourage posting. We don't care for foul language since it seems a little indignant but typing **** in a understandable position could be overlooked. Still we like to encourage a range of age groups so a lot of ***** gets in the way.

We really think the best of new members and a small writing example would hasten the acceptance of any interested prospect. We pride ourselves of being open to those who wish to learn about us. Since only three of us take the time to accept members the wait is short and the banning is minimal due to the fact we want members to come not to be banned. Of course if a person has been inactive with out giving us a reason then we will ban. We might be open but you can only push us so far.

Well thank you! If I had found this place a few months ago when I was still obssesed with dark elves, I would definately have joined!

Well, I absolutely love P4. Probably to the point of obssesion! It has a very nice combat system with a solid amount of strategy, which doesnt allow its enemies to be killed by just repeatdly pressing the attack button. It also has a system call Social Links, you have to make and build up freindships if you want to advance in the game, and get stronger. Its story is also excellent, it has a very good mystery aspect and you can actually lose the game if you fail to solve certain mysteries in an alloted amount of time! The characters are not at all generic, they show alot of emotion. and as you get to know them you learn alot about everyones darker side.

Kinda reminds me of Fire Emblem however they just have an attack button. biggrin I had googled the game and got a video ad for the game. I can see the interest already.

I love a good strategy game though from time to time a mindless kill them all game releases some stress when I'm stuck on a plan.

I like the idea you might lose if you can't figure something out in time. All the games I have played lead you around like a lost puppy. You couldn't go against the storyline and make a terrible mistake. And if you were dense the game would let you take all the time you want to follow directions.

Well, it is kinda like Fire Emblem, but it's strategy is completely different. Every enemy has strengths and weaknesses, but not in the conventional sense. For one, you have to discover these statistics yourself! So you cant just quickly open a menu and attack its weak point. Secondly, you hardly do any fighting yourself. Most fighting comes from demons called 'Persona's' which are just like enemies, and have many strengths and weaknesses themselves.

It isnt really that difficult, the hardest part is managing your schedule. Since the game revolves on a calender, and you have to choose between solving the mystery and leveling your social links before the time is up, and another person is murdered.

So the demons are what you use to fight with and you have to make time for social links and solving cases. Is there any similarity in the mysteries that lead in into the main case or are there some case just out there to distract you from the main point?

Enemies are absolutely NEVER predictable in this game. Almost to an infuriating degree, when you have to try every type of attack on them.

Perhaps I worded wrong, its all just one big case. Your just solving aspects of it at a time.

Well, you are a transfer student. You've come to a town known as "Foggy Inaba" to live with your uncle. There is a rumor going around school about a "midnight channel" A tv show that comes on at midnight, on rainy nights that supposedly shows you your soulmate. But a couple days pass, and there is a murder.

Thats really just the intro though...If I go too deep into the plot, I'll give everything away and write 10 pages worth of a post! gonk
