This thread is interesting but due to the volatile virtual economy in Gaia will soon be obsolete.
You will probably see many in the bottom classes moving up when looking at the list below
as the upper tiers become more crowded. This is not a good thing.
Seven months ago 55 Gaians (~2%) of over 2,000 polled were Super Rich (1 billion gold at that time). Today that is the middle of Middle class. As of June 4th, 2014 inflation is up ~320,000% since September, 2013.
I can't keep up with Gaia's ridiculous inflation as 'healthy' soars from 12 million to well over a billion.

This Gaian made an amazing Gaia magazine... I was terribly impressed. You need to see it.

HOW DO I CALCULATE MY WORTH? (P.S. TekTek gave up on this... couldn't keep up with the crazy economy)

Okay, first up, I am moderately geeky with some time on my hands and a calculater.
These figures are taken from about a dozen polls from thousands of Gaians and their current worth as well as various socioeconomic theories.

P.S. I try to reflect the real world here but it is difficult as it is more fantasy than Gaia. In the real world the bottom 80% in the US (the vast majority) owned 12.8% of the wealth in 2009; The top 1% owned over 35%. Give these numbers some thought.

If your attention span will let you watch a six and a half minute video... you might learn something. Scary somethings... Wealth Inequality in America

100 Years Ago We Were Given The Central Bank (and inflation) in the US..

$100 in 1913 is worth $2,371 in 2014 according to The Department of Labor

100GG in September, 2013 is worth 5,000GG in March, 2014 according to the Marketplace

100 Years of Being Screwed by the Fed Gave us 2,371% Inflation
7 months on Gaia will see ~5,000% Inflation (Edit: I was wrong, it was 15,000%)

Thanks for showing us you're twice as greedy (and just as smart) as the Republican Party, Gaia.
Estimated Inflation Progression

If the Marketplace grows at the rate the current graph suggests, we should see inflation in the virtual economy progress as follows:
(Edit: Well over 8,000% by April 1st means this table is far too conservative)

September, 2013 (Baseline): 100%
10/13 - 220%
11/13 - 300%
12/13 - 400%
01/14 - 400%
02/14 - 700%
03/14 - 2,100%
04/14 - *4,500% (Reality was over 16,500%)
05/14 - *10,000%
06/14 - *12,000%
07/14 - *14,000%
08/14 - *16,000%
09/14 - *18,000%
10/14 - *20,000%
11/14 - *22,000%
12/14 - *25,000%
*estimated

So, 50,000,000GG Coco Kitties by the end of the year? We'll see...
Edit: April 6th, 2014

The poll is still swinging wildly due to the virtual economy but it indicates 45.5% of Gaians are worth at least 750 million gold. Extrapolating from this data and the rampant inflation since the poll began it is fair to estimate that half of Gains are currently worth a minimum of 1 billion gold.
