"Uh...MTV" he said turning it on. "Well nothings on..." he said then flipping past the cooking channel and they had the best looking cookies. "I wonder if there are any cookies in the kitchen." Alex said thinking out loud. "Do you wanna see if there are any cookies or maybe help me make some." Alex asked hoping she liked to cook.

Kris was at the door to the apartment. She kept her black hoodie covering her face. She kept a death grip on the black duffel bag that was decorated in broken hearts and skulls. She opened the door careful to not let her sweater roll up and expose old bruises from her family. She walked in.
"Hello? She called out "I don't know which room I'm in..." She said quietly still extremely nervous.

Kris pulled her hood down and walked around. She noticed the kitchen. She walked into to see a boy and a girl baking. It smelt good. Kris blushed slightly. "Umm Excuse me but I'm new can you tell me were the rooms are!" She said loudly hoping to get there attention.

The Story Goes....

At the sound of people conversing in the other room, the red head sat up on her newly claimed bed. Though her curiosity was telling her to go meet the people, her timidness ultimately won. With a soft sigh, Rein moved to the edge of her bed and opened her black bag. Pulling out her thick sketch pad, Rein laid across her bed, pencil in hand, and began sketching. First the small figure began to form, her body looking as though it could pop right out of the paper book. The wooden guitar in her arms began to form next, each string being a different width than the one before it. At this point, her hands were covered with graphite, smudging the pencil marks to fill and lighten the picture the way she wanted.

Kris smiled, "Thanks!" She left to her room and put her bag on the bed. She went to the bathroom and took off her jacket. black and purple bruises decorated her arms. She frowned at the scars and bruises. She went to her bag and grabbed a light black and red sweater walking back down stairs. "Those two seemed nice!" She said to herself quietly, "Might as well try to make friends.." She told her self and went back to the kitchen. "What-cha makin?" She asked giving a rare small smile.

Kris blushed and looked away. "Oh i didn't notice them!" She felt so stupid her fresh started at she screws up already, And infront of the guy who is kinda cute, just her luck. "Well I don't think i caught your name, I'm Kris!" She said still alittle red in the face.

Nil sat on the floor of his room, resting his back against the wall, with his guitar in his lap. He kept his eyes closed as he played and sang along softly.
Why don't we end this lie,
I can't pretend this time
I need a friend to find, my broken mind,
Before it falls to pieces

Nil barely noticed the rest of the world and thats how he preferred it. He kept playing, trying to keep quiet as to not disturb the others in the house.

The Story Goes....

Finally finishing her drawing, Rein sat up on her bed, marveling at the pencil sketch before her. It was then that she noticed just how dirty she had gotten her hands. With a gentle sigh, Rein opened her door, leaving her book open on the bed, and began searching for the bathroom. Out in the hall Rein could hear the voices more clearly. There was a mention of cookies at one point or another. With a gentle laugh, Rein finally found the bathroom. Not bothering to close the door, Rein turned on the sink and began scrubbing the dark graphite from her pale fingers. As the cool water ran over her hands, a soft musical note came to her. Listening more carefully, Rein heard the soft strumming of a guitar. She did not know where it was coming from, but wherever it was, they played excellently.

Kris smiled and looked at the two nodding slightly. "It nice to meet you two!" She said simply. Her cellphone rang. She looked at the caller id, her father. her smile went away she she saw this. Chances were she had forget something at home and her father called to yell. She decided to let it ring as she looked at the two. "So what's there to do for fun around here?" She smirked slightly.
