they are my favorite superheroes besides batman but the movies could have been done way better. Xmen: First Class was pretty tight, though

My 3-year-old cousin knows this movie.

X-men isn't really obscure. Almost everyone knows something about it. I have to say that I preferred the live-action films over any of the animated series. Nightcrawler and Rogue will always be my favorites.
