I'm not sure what the PS3 has MORE then XBOX360 but you can put a keyboard on your controller for xbox,
makes it so much easier to sign in on site
and i don't think you can do that with ps3

One of those???? You mean, not just a fanboy but someone that actually can back it up.

" I take care of my things " Is always the typical response. Sure anything can last for years, that is if you have it sitting there just collecting dust. For someone that actually uses it, we tend to run into the real problems with it.

Even your pc is way out there. 9 years........ really a computer that is 9 years old must of have had a major face lift around 5 years. The average life of any computer is 4 - 6 years with regular equipment upgrades.

"One of those" as in one of those people that had the bad luck (some were user-errors still) of having their 360's constantly RRoD while the rest of us had fewer to no problems. I didn't mean it any other way. When I was a kid, we kept buying Furbys that would fail on us within two days, and that happened about 6 times in a row before we just gave up. It was just bad luck; same thing happened to you, same thing happened to others.

I played my 360 every single day, sometimes for around 10 hours a day (especially when I was hooked on Oblivion) up until a year ago when I started college. So it never "collected dust" in fact, quite the opposite. I dust my room on a somewhat regular interval.

And yes, 9 years. I replaced my HDD late last year and installed more RAM into it, I also upgraded the video card about 3 years ago. Other than that, it has the same hardware. Hell, I even use the same desk, keyboard, and monitor. And before you say it, yes I do use it every day.

Also, I'm curious as to why you still stuck it out through "14 360s" if you think they suck?

That's actually been on the PS3 for a long while.

I have every current system and the PS3 is my most used.

The Wii is my least used and Kinect is something I just won't bother with. I don't mind using a controller to navigate my system's OS and honestly, headsets have been used for voice control even as far back as the N64 with Hey You, Pikachu.

Xbox seems to be more for the casual like gamers aka the majority of gamers. More people are gonna say xbox is better, but I think PS3 is better and not because Im just a fan of it, I just dislike everything with xbox.

You're thinking of the Wii. XBox has had the reputation of being the first choice of "hardcore" gamers since it was first released in 2001 (just look at its line-up saturated with Tom Clancy and other shooters.) It continues that reputation, even though for whatever reason less and less "hardcore" games are being released in the overall gaming market (this includes PS3/Wii/Xbox.) Everyone wants to sink their teeth into the casual market; not just Nintendo or, as you claim, XBox.

What you're seeing is PS3 having lukewarm results in trying to corner the casual market. How is the Move doing, anyways? I never hear anything about it.

Thats fine Im just pointing it out
PlayStation 3. More exclusives that fit my taste and (in my opinion) the Kinect is a mere joke. Anyone who says otherwise and tries to prove it is wrong, as this is an opinion. Even if it is wrong in your eyes, it is correct in mine.

I am a long-time Xbox owner, and actually thought the same thing about the Kinect until I tried it. Some of the games actually have some pretty solid gameplay, and the Kinect has great responsiveness as long as it's properly set up. The library of games for it right now is pretty small, though. There's only like 3 or 4 at most that really stand out to me.

So my opinion is that the Kinect is very under-utilized right now, and doesn't live up to its potential. In fact, I've seen better things come from people developing for the Kinect on their PCs. It's powerful hardware.

What's your opinion on the Move? It's pretty much the same idea, except on PlayStation and gets out-sold 2:1 by the Kinect. Have you tried it? Does anything look decent for it? They must not put much money into advertising it, because I never see it mentioned anywhere.

My brother has the Kinect, which is precisely why Eye can consider it a mere joke. It'd be rather foolish to truly consider something a joke without even trying it. It also helps that my body is physically weak, thus rendering my ability to play games on it rather lackluster.

As for the Move, no thanks. My Wii already does about everything the Move does. Since my preference is in the controller-style form of gameplay, there's no real reason for me to get it even if my Wii broke.

Why PS3? Heres why!

Advantages:
Blu-ray
Better and ALOT of Exclusives
MMOs
Graphics top notch
Blu-tooth headsets dont die after a year or few months
Controllers DO NOT need stupid batteries talk2hand charge with USB cable in PS3 or PC
LONGER life cycle
FREE ONLINE PLAY rofl

Disadvantages?
One I guess... No Party chat.

Why not Xbox? Heres why!
Advantages:
Party Chat
IDK if this is an advantage but CoD Skyrim DLC gets to Xbox players first.

Disadvantages:
DVD only (no blu-ray)
Minor exclusives Microsoft has forgot their Core gamers and are focusing on casual with the new Kinect
Graphics..eh average so ineffectual you see it you dont go OH LOOK AT THE GRAPHICS! Your like meh, stare
Headsets they get broken or stop working so easily
Controllers USE batteries!
Life Cycle I say you can almost compare to the life of a fruit fly rolleyes
PAY FOR ONLINE SERVICE +batteries,, headsets, constant re-fixes

And there you have it! mrgreen
XBOX360 all the way and no arguement and compitition settled
