Xbox360 VS. PS3

basically goes down to this. if you like and only play fps games and want to be dumb and pay money for online multiplayer then go for xbox.
PS3 I love more cause it's free online and it has OTHER genres of games and even the fps exclusive is better. My opinion but I have all 3 systems and love them all for their own reasons

I'm not sure what the PS3 has MORE then XBOX360 but you can put a keyboard on your controller for xbox,
makes it so much easier to sign in on site
and i don't think you can do that with ps3

Which is better, PS3 or Xbox360? I have an Xbox and i have to say, its pretty amazing with kinect. It has voice control. Talk to it, it does what you say. How is PS3 better?

Umm...I own both, but I prefer buying games for the xbox, if I can help it.

For several reasons

1) The Xbox controller feels better in my hands. The ps3 controller is too bulbous and sticks out at weird angles. (No immature comments about that sentence, please...)

2) Most people have an xbox instead of a ps3. Aka, all my friends are on Xbox, so I'd rather get a game on xbox to play with them.

3) I've found that xbox exclusives tend to just...be better. (Fable, etc)



I only really buy exclusives for my ps3. And even then, I mostly play PS1 and PS2 games on it.


I own all three systems solely so I don't need to worry what system the game I just bought is on.

If a game is multiplatform, I'd rather have it on 360 for convenience because a) My friends will have gotten it on xbox so we can play together, and b) I like the 360's controller the best.

They're both neck and neck, both with great exclusive and non exclusive games with nearly the same controller scheme (not counting the gimmicky motion ones)
I can't really say much I got both but if i had to compare, I would have to say PS3 since the graphics are sharper thanks to blu-ray technology but the early PS3 games are just bad if you love to earn achievements

Not really... Xbox servers are MUCH better than PS3.... Xbox servers only go down for minutes to 1 hour.


PS3, on the other hand.... Goes down for days. So, you have to think about that.

Controllers are extremely sensitive that if they call they ******** up. And I have never spent so much money on rechargeable batteries.................... and so on and so on........


Yeah unlike others, I got enough experience with them that I can back up my statement that 360 is complete s**t.

Oh, so you were one of those people? I've had my second 360 for years since my first-generation 360 RROD'd. And I've also never had any troubles with rechargeable batteries or overheating.

Then again, I tend to take care of all of my belongings. My PC is 9 years old, and runs like new.

I've had both systems in my life and I have no hate towards either; but I enjoy my PS3 the most because off the blu-ray player and the free online play.

" I take care of my things " Is always the typical response. Sure anything can last for years, that is if you have it sitting there just collecting dust. For someone that actually uses it, we tend to run into the real problems with it.

Even your pc is way out there. 9 years........ really a computer that is 9 years old must of have had a major face lift around 5 years. The average life of any computer is 4 - 6 years with regular equipment upgrades.
