That, I'll leave to you. But now you have a possible finish for it! mrgreen
True. I'll just let it come to me. I might look at a few to get some ideas. I spent quite a bit of time today reworking my BOS.

Good luck! Let us know what ends up working for you, ok? biggrin

in all simplicity,

people who practice wicca in groups are called covens.

people who practice wicca alone (by themselves) are called solitary witches(female) or
solitary warlocks(male)

Actually, no. Wiccan males don't call themselves warlocks. Warlock is a bad word, used for one who has betrayed his or her coven.

Um no. Coven is the name of the group not the person. Also warlock is truth twister or oath breaker, which no Wiccan wants to be.

So I've finally started to do the exercises in my books as I come across them. Right now I'm working through Full contact Magick and it's been interesting. I like the way he writes. Now I have some basic practices to try every day to build up my skills with energy manipulation.

Energy working can be a lot of fun. I have very energy-sensitive hands, so I'm good at that too.

I haven't done any serious energy manipulation in a while. So it's something to work on. One of my biggest obstacles in my studies has been my impatience. I want things to happen qickly so I give up easily. However I have started to set smaller goals and time limits. Like today I tried two different exercises. I timed myself so I had a set time limit. I was able to hold the first exercise for 4 minutes and the second exercise for 2. Basics before you can run right?

Exactly. Start small, and work up. You'll get where you want to be with energy work if you're stubborn enough. mrgreen

Well I do know Reiki so that helps a little, even though this is a different type of energy. Still. I am adding a different exercise every day to my practice. It makes me feel better. Sometimes I can sense and feel the energy better than others. This is again where the impatience comes in. I've been one of those people whose read and read and read books on the subject but never done any of the real exercises.

There is a circle casting exercise I read about today that I want to try soon. It's just energy. It is a larger scale version of the energy exercises I've been working on. Well I shouldn't say working on as I just started doing them yesterday. Still. I used to make energy balls and toss them around with my friends for a fun entertaining thing. When I moved out of that group home I stopped doing the practice.

Prior to that I spent a lot of time charging and releasing people of excess energy they had. Yet I need to reacquaint myself with my own energy patterns before I start doing energy work on any one else. It's a process that is going to take a while to get built up, but I am encouraged.

*sighs* Though right now I am having to defend my teacher...

I've never done Reiki...what kind of energy does it involve?

Reiki is both the name of the system and the name of the energy used. It's not something you can learn from books. It's something you need to learn through an attunement process by a linneaged Master.

I've heard very little about it, but never had a lesson or anything. It does sound interesting.

It's primarily a healing system. It was founded by Dr. Miako Usui. It is an interesting system and there are many traditions. I practice Usui Reiki.

There are a couple in this thread that some of the guild members created - they might give you some ideas.
Thanks. I'll have to look at those.

I have a meditation enhancement wash that people might find useful, how would I get it placed in that BOS?
