So, does any one have a ritual or prayer they use before doing a reading of some sort?

I shuffle my cards several times after and before I read tarot cards for someone. I try to get rid of their energy that remains on the cards, especially if they touched them.

I said a prayer before I gave my mom a reading with her cards. It was interesting as I had never used that deck before.

Okay, here's something random. I've noticed that over the last couple of weeks, every time I walk down the freeway to get to the coffee-shop where I do my online time, there's a little black bird with red shoulders that flits along with me, sometimes going just a little ahead of me and landing on a power line, sign, or bush, and basically keeping pace with me as I walk. Is this some kind of a signal that The Gods still have their eye on me, and all's well, or what?

I should also note that the bird has never swooped at me or tried to crap on me...it just tags along, peeping at me every now and then.

True. I'll just let it come to me. I might look at a few to get some ideas. I spent quite a bit of time today reworking my BOS.
