I'm slowly learning my crystals i recently got.xD I found that i'm extremely attracted to Moon stone, Clear Quartz, Lapis Lazuli, and Amethyst. ^_^

lol! in all honesty though, I haven't made to much.xD just the pentacle and a wand, along with a few decorations on my altar. ^_^ in my spare time though, i hand craft soap and i paint. I sometimes make jewelry, if i can be bothered.xD i also sew, and i've made a lot of skirts and a few shirts.

there are different types of wiccans. the type that your talking about are called solitary witches.
witches can work in groups.
and usualy, that will make a spell more powerful.

Yeah, I'm doing the Solly thing too. (And yeah, that's my own nickname for Solitaries) Overall, though, I'd say the kind of dynamic you get with a really good circle or coven tops everything else. 3nodding

I shuffle my cards several times after and before I read tarot cards for someone. I try to get rid of their energy that remains on the cards, especially if they touched them.

Oh, another thing I remembered about my group experience with the Ft. Lewis on-post Wiccan circle...

Another position you can give to someone who's a relative newcomer to Wicca is that of Flametender. You can also call the job Fireminder, or whatever sounds good. Basically, it's the tender's job to light the incense and candles at the appropriate times during ritual, and to snuff them out safely when it needs doing. This is good for newbies for a couple of reasons.

1. It gives them something to actually do, instead of just standing in circle and nodding and smiling. They're involved.

2. Since they don't have a whole pile of things to do, they can spend most of the ritual really soaking up the way things are done, and getting familiar with the methods.

Has anyone else done something like this, or is it fairly unique?

I adore rose quartz when I'm in the mood to be a big softy. Lol. Like when I'm dealing with a lot of emotional stress, I use it to ease the pain and invite love into my heart to deal with it. But sometimes it can really make you overly sensitive because it opens the heart to more then just healing.

Next time you use it, pair it with stones that always seem too strong/powerful {Like stones that give you head aches or open up buried emotional problems so that you deal with them} or something that will counter it's sootheing loving nature so that you don't become a cry baby over night. xD
