What are the tennants of that religion any way?
Only the tenets Discordians choose to invent.
Really? So can you give an example of something?

So no training in the rites or rituals at all?
Well, I mean you can have some if you
want to. Certain Cabals might have requirements, but it's fairly uncommon. Otherwise though, yeah. No real training or rites.
I see. I personally like having structured religious rites and rituals...which is why I'm glad I'm finally training in a specific tradition (4 months and I start training).

Ah but here is a problem, All the books on Wicca state that every Wiccan is his or her own priest or priestess. As such they serve their Gods by performing rites and rituals. The Wica are clergy. They are trained to serve their Gods in the right way. There are specific rites and rituals to those Gods.
So?
So if one is calling themselves a priest or priestess they must know the proper rites and rituals of the religion they are a priest of. Some Gods (like the Gods of Wicca) have specific rites. In order to learn those rites one must be properly trained. One can not simply decide one day to be Wiccan and practice the rites and rituals of Wicca. The Gods of Wicca choose their followers, and have specific requirements. To properly worship those Gods one needs initiation and a coven.

However there is no evidence of a religion called Wicca prior to Gerald Gardner. As such Wicca refers to his religion and the priesthood it represents. Calling oneself Wiccan means one is a priest or priestess.
Calling yourself something only means what you intended it to mean. Anything else is the fault of the receiver for being presumptuous.
When a title can just be taken you are right, but when one has to be earned like Wiccan you are wrong.
