EDIT: Just googled it. Yeah supposedly entertainment companies in Asia try and control those who they manage. I heard that people were surprised that G Dragon was actually allowed to write his own songs. I'm not surprised he claimed that. It might actually be true to be honest. He might not allow them to make their own songs.

EDIT2: OMG JYP actually relates to the Jonas Brothers. Supposedly Wonder Girls opened for the Jonas Brothers in some places.
