My Disappearing Act
I've noticed with a lot of females enough is never enough.

Actually, I don't know about that. The worst teacher in my entire academic history was a woman, and she fits your statement. There was always a problem.

Double standards annoy me.

Yes.

There's another one, if a woman wants a career in nursing, she's praised for wanting to help and take care of people. But when a man decides to pursue nursing as a career, usually the first thing people comment on is his sexuality and preference. It irks me. They are both doing the same thing.

I have 4 best friends, young men/men who are nursing, as a career. Everyone assumes they are gay. My boy'friend' is a nurse too. Everyone thought he was gay. rolleyes

I simply see more women like that then men. There of course women not like this and men that are, mind you.

What was your experience? Ex girlfriend?

If a woman reports date rape by alcohol to the police, she's a victim. If a man does the same, he's a drunken party animal who put himself in that situation.

If a woman dresses provocatively, she is seen as liberated and free. If a man does the same, he is a pervert.

I'm sorry, but these are absolutely not true. The majority of people have a huge bias against rape victims, and slut-shaming is pretty prevalent.

It's just stupid.
I mean many women demand independence but at the same time expect men to have the same old-school "chivalrous" attitude.

What?

Well, what I should have said was that a majority of people on the internet seem to have a bias against rape victims. I see comments all the time that are along the lines of, "Well, if she hadn't been drinking/high/wearing slutty clothes/walking around alone/owning a v****a, she wouldn't have been raped". So as far as I can tell, there is no double standard of rape that is in a woman's favor.

I have never seen either of these double standards.

If a woman decides to pay her part of the check on a date, she's independent. If a man does the same, he's cheap.

If a woman reports date rape by alcohol to the police, she's a victim. If a man does the same, he's a drunken party animal who put himself in that situation.

If a woman walks into the men's room by accident, it was a mistake. If a man does the same in the women's room, he's a pervert.

If a woman hits her husband, she is brave. If a man hits his wife, he is abusive.

If a woman dresses provocatively, she is seen as liberated and free. If a man does the same, he is a pervert.

Why do we allow these double standards in society?

Have you ever been put in any of these situations in real life? What was your initial reaction?

half of that s**t is totally untrue, especially in the US, where regulations are being broken down. Depending on what company you live in you cant report rape without being blacklisted as an employee.

Plus what about the rest of the world?? neutral

Why don't you stop spewing ignorant BS. The porn industry enslaves girls around the world. Ohoho its never happend to you and "most men are not like that" am i right.
