Music wise, I love 80's metal. Specifically, Thrash, heavy, speed, doom, some prog, and black metal. Don't give me death metal or metalcore and expect me to like it. Band-wise my favorites are: Metallica, Testament, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Pantera, Avenged Sevenfold, Black Sabbath, Dio (R.I.P.), Dream Theater, Pink Floyd, Judas Priest, Guns n' Roses, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Thin Lizzy, Survivor, Iron Maiden, Kiss, Thousand Foot Krutch, Drowning Pool, Breaking Benjamin, Queen, Motley Crue, Van Halen, and AC/DC

Because this is the internet and we have strong opinions. And because people post lots of bullshit.

I'd kill crunkcore, even though it's not a metal subgenre. My reasons are obvious.

As for metal subgenres, I'd kill folk metal, since it's the only metal subgenre that I pretty much never listen to. I mean, I like Primordial and Agalloch, but both of those bands have enough black metal cred to survive the purge.
