So I'm having trouble getting started writing my story. I have the idea of how every thing goes and where things all end up, but I don't know how to start. Does that make scene? I know what the story it about, I just don't know how to start writing it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Slam your head against a wall. And just write.

Seriously it is your story and you have given me no idea what you are talking about as far as your story so I can't help you.

OH

I have an idea

Start with when the MCs mother and father ********, thus leading to the birth of the MC.

Тёмная ночь, только пули свистят по степи,
Только ветер гудит в проводах, тускло звёзды мерцают...

Opening scenes can be difficult. You basically have to set the tone for the rest of the story. Think about what kind of story you're writing. If there's a lot of action, start with an action scene. If it's comedy, make sure your opening scene is funny. Let the readers know what they're getting in to.

That being said, don't stress about it too much. It can be daunting to actually start, but once you have words on the page, it gets easier. It doesn't have to be perfect the first time.

Start at the beginning. neutral It's pretty straightforward. Start the story where it begins, then go until you get to the ending.

'Course, it makes it hard to help when you aren't giving us any information on your story.

Try writing a bunch of different openings, with different settings. You can start with a dream, a normal meal setting, a trip to the market, whatever. It depends on what kind of story you're writing as to what you want to do. I've noticed that when I'm stuck, if I write a bunch of different openings eventually I'll figure out the right one.
