The AMC has good threads once in awhile, about good anime.

I have yet to see a thread about Space Battleship Yamato, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Spice and Wolf, Tytania, Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 or other such interesting or unique title.

There are most likely threads about those anime in the sub-forums. Also I've seen some pretty good threads on the main page with good anime/manga, such as JJBA, HnK, and Ah! My Goddess, to name a few. Also, you could make threads about these. Just sayin'.
