I'm not saying we should burn them at the stake or anything xp

That's good because I have heard that one before and much worse said to me. I just get tired of the stigma that overweight and obese people can't be healthy (it is also the most ignorant thing I have heard).

I would hardly call it ignorant @_@;
Like I said, it's unlikely for obese people to be healthy >_<;

Just three examples of not only health at every size But the second one is a blog of a super obese dancer.

Just because it may seem unlikely doesn't mean it is impossible.

I never said it was impossible -_-
That doesn't change the fact that it is still very unlikely, and most people who are obese are unhealthy.

Also doesn't change the fact that if you stigmatis one you stigmatis us all. And I would say that falls under ignorant.

Stigmatize? >3>;
It is ignorant to assume that all obese people are unhealthy, but it's more ignorant to think that most people could simultaneously be healthy and obese.

But abortions don't increase the risk of breast cancer. Birth control does.

I'm actually abstinent, so I haven't done either, but from what I've read about both, abortions seem like a less harmful option if you don't have to have too many. (Even though both can result in death.)

...Yes. Condoms. I agree with condoms.

Plus some women can't use the most common birth controls (the pill, namely) due to severe reactions to it. But abstinent? Honey, no... just no.
But I do approve of your signature. WANT SOME CURRY?

What's wrong with being abstinent for now? I don't expect everyone else to be.
Thank you. It's about time somebody got it. =)

I don't know, abstinence doesn't strike me as something natural. Sexual activity, with oneself or a partner, is perfectly natural and healthy. Denying a base urge seems... silly.
Wait, I'm the first?(!) Now that makes me really upset sad

And what are you basing your assumption that they are unhealthy on? Their BMI? Their looks? What they may or may not eat?

Little known fact BMI has never measured health. It was first used to measure the difference in body shapes in large populations. Some quack decided one day it shall be used to measure a person's health. Hence why most doctors now and days do not use it because it is now so very flawed and can cause an eating disorder in perfectly healthy people.

Also another little known fact. That eating disorders in kids under twelve yes under the age of TWELVE is up 112% because their friends, family, and peers shame them because they are aren't thin and healthy? When they are healthy.

Just because you are thin does not give you a free pass in life. There is something called skinnyfat. What that is a thin person that has so much fat round their vial organs that they are shutting down.

You can think it is ignorant to think you can be both, I suggest talking to a doctor about that, any doctor whom is not skinny obsessed will tell you can be any size and heathy. I did my homework did you?

It's really a personal choice, though. Some people like to do it freely and are happy that way, while I'd rather wait to find somebody I can really trust before going that far with them. It's what I want in life, whether it's natural or not.

I know. Terry Pratchett is like a god among authors, and people only seem to be interested in Harry Potter+whatever they have to read for school. It's quite sad.

I'm basing it on the fact that obesity is generally both caused by health problems, and causes health problems in and of itself.

There are a ton of unhealthy obese children. They shouldn't be made to feel bad about it though, their parents are at fault @_@;

I'm aware that being thin doesn't not automatically make you healthy -_-
I'm just saying, it's foolish to think that most people could be healthy being obese.
Being at a a general healthy weight greatly increases your odds of being healthy, but obviously it's not the only thing -_-

Obese people have that fat around their organs as well you know >_>;;
People with healthy body fat percentages don't really count as obese.

Any size and healthy, so a person could be 800 pounds and healthy? -_-

-what is the most ignorant thing you've ever heard (not necessarily shocking, just so "...are they truly believing that things are that way?!" thing)

"Homosex is sin." - guy on the Square in my town.... at least once a week.

-Times you've passed for an ignorant.

I do my best to keep an open mind, but I'm sure I've appeared ignorant many times that I'm not even aware of.

I WANTED TO ******** KILL HIM but instead I told him to shut the ******** up.

"Honey I would like to study Eastern medicine arts and it's going to cost about 3k for the course." -quoted, my dad.

He said that after two weeks straight of cussing me out at how I can't go to art school since the family is broke. Thanks for sticking my a** in community college after all that s**t I pulled in high school to go to a good university.

Oh well, as long as you're not doing it because the Jonas Brothers did (gaaaag), I guess it's okay. Happiness comes first and all that.

Oh yes! Thanks, now I remembered something else that's really, really ignorant: video responses to books, namely the Twilight series, on Youtube. I especially like one by some nutcase who attacks Stephen King (yes, the Stephen King) for a comment he made about Meyer's writing. Comedy gold, but you'll hurt your brain listening.

In all seriousness, probably something my mom said. She believes my uncle's ex-wife is a witch...not like...a wiccan, like a hansel and gretle type witch. It's really strange, she also believes that a few people in the neighborhood have cast curses upon us and the owls that come out at night are a bad omen. sweatdrop
Once, when I was still in secondary school, during my history class, someone loudly exclaimed that they didn't know what a stirrup iron was.
Also: everytime some girl asks if they can get pregnant from swallowing a guy's ejaculate makes me want to cry.
