What do you listen to?

I pick one song and listen to it on loop until I log off.
That can be anywhere between ten minutes to four hours.

Right now it's Bill Talents "Fallen Leaves"
Last week it CaramellDansen
The other day it was "Still Alive" from that game Portal (which I've never played)
What I listen to is not based on what I'm doing.

It annoys the hell out of everyone I know that I can listen to the same exact song over and over and over and over and over... well, you get it.

I usually listen to the video game that my boyfriend is playing, The weather Network on low or my iPod touch.
I just can't stand silence.

I always have my iTunes opened up while on the computer. Most of the time, I'll be singing along with it.

My music (favorites): Angels and Airwaves, Blink-182, Death Cab for Cutie, Daft Punk, Coldplay, Keane, Justice, and sometimes classical music symphonies if I'm feeling fancy.

You can either find me listening to soccer podcasts (like the nerd I am), or video game music (like the even bigger nerd I am).

I don't have any specific thing I listen to while on Gaia. Generally when I'm surfing on for forums then I'll either be listening to my electronica/soundtrack playlist or not listening to anything. Otherwise I'll be listening to audiobooks (there's never enough time in teh day to only be doing one thing) or some good hard rock.

Usually, it's TV in the background. For instance, at the moment I'm watching Slumdog Millionaire. (Which might I add, is good, but I still don't freaking understand why people call it a 'feel-good' movie. D: ) Although when it's not TV, it's usually a random pick from my iPod, favorites being something from the Killers or Foo Fighters.

Mostly my MP3 player. Filled with various anime and video game OSTs. I think I have mostly Sega and DDR stuff though. Songs that most people would kinda look at me for.

Or if I can't listen to it for some reason, I open Winamp and listen to some internet radio. Pretty much the same stuff as my MP3 player, but with more instrumental stuff because of Final Fantasy.

I don't mind silence, but I usually have music on. I'll play my Winamp playlist which has most of my old school stuff. Pop & rock to Showtunes & Jpop.

Sometimes I'll have a movie in the background, but this is on a very rare occasion. Usually a holiday or something. I was watching Beetlejuice while I was doing the Halloween event. biggrin

If I'm at home, then usually the tv is on- either with the sound on or muted. Right now Whatever, Martha! is on- I looove that show. After that Man vs. Food and later Mythbusters. Late at night, when there's nothing on, I'll have Creationscape or Worship Network on, the music is soothing and the backgrounds are really pretty. If I'm at the library dealing with the annoying kids who invade the place with their yelling, jabbering really loud, banging on things, and blasting their music really loud (if I can hear the music you're listening to on your headphones, clear across the room- IT'S TOO LOUD)... I have my iPod on with hard rock playing. If it's quiet in the library, then I'll listen to classical music or either my Celtic Christmas, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon soundtrack, or this cd that has a bunch of music from Vince Giaraldi (sp?)- the guy who did all the music for the Charlie Brown specials. Jane Monheit and Yo-Yo Ma are really relaxing too.
