Beige by Cecil Castellucci
I think it's really good, actually. Sort of has swear words, but whatever.
It takes place in Los Angeles, but the main character talks about Montreal a lot, since that's where she comes from, and I'm from Montreal too, so it's pretty cool (:
This is actually the first book I have read from this author. I just took this book out of my sister's bookshelf when she bought new books.

That sounds really cool! The book that I've just finished 'Angels' is set in LA as well, although I'm from Birmingham, UK. Which is pretty far away haha!

That sounds like a really cool book though, what's it about?
It's about this girl, Katy, who goes to see her rockstar dad in L.A for 2 weeks, away from her mom, and completely hates it, and hates her dad. Then stuff happen about meeting her dad's biggest fan, and seeing a hot boy, etc. Her dad also hires Lake, a girl who he bribed to show Katy around L.A, which is where Katy gets the nickname Beige, hence the title of the book. Then Lake starts confessing stuff, and it actually seems that Katy starts liking L.A, because she has to stay there until the end of the summer now, since her mom is still in Peru (part of her job).
I'm not done, but I want to finish reading it ASAP (:
The Colour of Magic by Terry Pratchett. I decided I should finally read the first book. XD
Trial of Socrates.
The Book Theif, by Markus Zusak.
Rereading it.
The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien
The Fellowship of the Ring was amazing
i hope The Two Towers is better
i love LOTR
heart heart
I was reading The Vampire Lestat, by Anne Rice, but i had to return it to the library crying lol I need to go get it back, I've got like 100 pages left. But It's really good!

I've also read Interview with the Vampire (and seen the movie). Read it! It really helps you understand the movie more if you saw it, and it's just an excellent book!
"Go Down Together: The True, Untold Story of Bonnie and Clyde" by Jeff Guinn.

I am reading The Dragon Heir by Cinda Williams Chima. It's the third in the series and I read the other two first. This one is okay. It is odd reading it though because sometimes, I'll read something and feel like I knew that was going to happen when really I had no idea. Sometimes I don't want to put it down and sometimes it feels like I will never get through it. The first two were definitely better. I'm either going to read Pretties after this one or The Book Thief. I'm not sure yet. I loved Uglies. xd
The fourth twilight book Breaking Dawn.

Awww! I LOVED that book. What do you think of the narrative. I thought it was really different, but really enjoyable at the same time.
It's a good idea to have death narrating smile

I just finished reading Evernight by Claudia Grey,
and I thought it was okay. Not too good, but not
too bad. She could have worked so much better
with the characters and the plot, but I guess they
were good and I am looking forward to reading the
sequel, Stargazer.

But instead, I just began reading City of Bones by
Cassandra Clare. I just finished the first chapter,
and well it has some of my attention. Not too much,
though. But I've heard it's a good much so I will just
try it.

Yeah, I've just started reading Before I Die by Jenny Downham, and I've read 7 chapters ... it's alright, but it hasn't grabbed me like I thought it would from reading the blurb.
I just finished reading SONG OF SOLOMON by TONI MORRISON. It's a really great book and i recomend it. i've also read THE BLUEST EYE also by the same author. These books are really great provocative, disturbing, touching, and really heavy readings so if thats what you want out of books Toni Morrison's books are the ones to read!!! No HYPE!

The Sorceress by Michael Scott...

^^I want to read The Sorceress so badly!! I love Michael Scott. I've read The Alchemyst and The Magician and loved them to pieces!!!

..but right now I'm reading Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen. It's pretty good. It's about this girl named Ruby who lives with her mother--but then her mother up and leaves and so she has to go and live with her sister, whom she has not seen in ten years. Her sister, Cora, is married and lives in a gigantic house--and so Ruby goes and lives with Cora and Jamie and has to enroll in the private, almost preppy school that is a stark contrast of her previous school, Jackson High. She doesn't trust people, and considers herself unfriendly..but it's cool.

I've also read The Truth About Forever, This Lullaby, Someone Like You, and Just Listen. I'm trying to read everything by her..Sarah Dessen is my favourite author.
