I just finished reading The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks. I forget the the author's name though. Right now I'm reading Flood by Stephen Baxter.
The Cry of the Icemark by . . . Stuart Hill?

Second time reading. I like. =)
I'm reading "Lover Enshrined" by J.R Ward. It's the sixth in the Black Dagger Brotherhood. I like though the main character is annoying me at the moment. XD He's the best looking of the series, in my opinion, but personality-wise, he could be more interesting. The series itself is getting slightly repetitive though. But that comes with any the turf of romance novels. My guilty pleasure.
Right now iamreading the Pendragon series D.J. machale. I knowit sounds weird but it's REALLY good. It's about this boy named Bobby (i think) who goes toweird worlds and helps save them from distruction. Read it!
Currently Reading:

Advance and Retreat by CSA General John Bell Hood (ret.)

and

Debt of Honor by Tom Clancy

I'm working on Dune. Picked it up a while back but never finished it. Now I'm planning on finishing the whole series.

Currently reading "Eagle Vision: Return of the Hoop" by Ed 'Eagle Man' Mcgaa. I like it!
I'm usually reading a number of books at once:

1- The Book of Poul Anderson (DAW collection from 1974) - some good older SF
2- Beyond Reach by Karin Slaughter - 6th in Grant County series. Slaughter is one of my new favorite authors this year.
3- The Second Summoning by Tanya Huff - She was one of my favorite new authors last year, and I'm still reading her books.
4- Gate of Ivrel by C.J. Cherryh - I promised myself I would read through all of Cherryh's books. This one's not great, but it was her first book.
5- Obsidian Butterfly by Laurell K. Hamilton - 9th Anita Blake book. Kind of weird, but it's one of my 'steady' series.
6- Summer Knight by Jim Butcher - 4th of Dresden Files. I really like this series.
7- All Together Dead by Charlaine Harris - 7th Sookie book. My "main" book really. I'm trying to get caught up in this series, and they are quick reads.
8- Seduced by Moonlight by Laurell K. Hamilton - 3rd Merry Gentry book. I don't like this series as much, but I am curious enough that I haven't given up yet.
9- Salem's Lot by Stephen King - I am not really a King fan, but this one is well regarded enough I wanted to give it a try.

I used to read a couple books at one time, but i don't think i could manage as much as that there lol
I guess some people need to have a continuous reading flow, but I find I can read a page here and there and not have any trouble keeping up with the story.

I used to work a night shift where I could read during slow periods. I would literally bring 10 books, and read them in rotation.

Hmm...I'm currently halfway through "To Kill a Mockingbird" and am greatly enjoying it. I also just started "Wicked" but haven't gotten very far through that. And I also just finished reading "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" edition with all the stories in it. These are all great reads and I highly recommend these books to anyone. blaugh

I've read all of the Hitch Hiker's guide series! They're really good 3nodding
