The B.F.G. (or Big Friendly Giant) by Roald Dahl. This is one of my favorite stories
by him actually. I love a good story with giants in it. They rarely get to be good
guys either. There's an animated version of this story out there too. I'm reading it
both for fun and the fact that I had an idea for a giant story myself (and I
wanted to make sure I wasn't copying even by accident...so far so good. My
own characters are very different and do different stuff for the most part...).
Artemis Fowl - The Lost Colony

I'm a sucker for this series, honestly. I've only read about two chapters, but I'm very into the story already. It is holding up to my expectations.
hmmm, how about Deathstalker series by Simon R Green? anyone reads that?Havent run into anyone who like that yet sad

Unfortunately I haven't.
Sorry.

What's it about?
Jinx by Meg Cabot. I may not have the right author name down since the book isn't near me at this particular time . . .

Well, I don't like Meg Cabot, but I have a friend that does, and they say that it is a Cabot book.
So there you go, you weren't wrong smile
I'm reading Enchantment by Orson Scott Card.

So far, it's pretty nifty.

Well, out of Somebody, Snatched, Mr. Was and Invisible it would really depend on what you want.

Somebody is about a girl that lives with her father and brother and they move around a lot and have to dye their hair and change their names and she ends up trying to find her past.

Mr. Was is about a boy who finds a door that takes you 50 years into the past in his dead grandfather's house and he has ALL KINDS of adventures there.

Invisible is about a boy who has this mental disorder like thing.. only he's really smart he just imagines/sees things that aren't real or are altered. It's really good just hard to describe without giving anything away..

Snatched was kind of juvenile. About a kidnapping mystery in highschool but the charecters are kind of hard to believe. Not the best book..

But since then I've finished Rash and started Hole in the Sky. Rash is about a boy who is accused of spreading a rash throughout his high school and he ends up going to jail and he's working on this McDonald's plant and the person in charge has them doing all these illegal things.

It's your choice. Which sounds most interesting?

I think 'Somebody' sounds like the most interesting one!! I may have to look into getting that one ordered! smile Sounds like my kind of read.

I've nearly finished 'Before I die' now. I didn't really like it TOO much to begin with, and I didn't think that the characters were in enough depth for me to feel any kind of strong emotions towards the character, but I shed a few tears for it at last. So I think perhaps the ending might be a little more satisfying than I first thought. 3nodding

Yes. Somebody is very good. Lots of secrets<3

That's good.. wouldn't want it to be a waste of time.

Yeah, I'm going to read it when I've read the ones I've got already!!

What have been your favourite books then? Like favourites ever?

What other ones do you have?

I don't really have favorite books per say. I read way too many... Some of them though I remember without looking up like Princess Nevermore, How to be Bad, Cam's Quest uh.. 13 reasons why , hanging onto Max, Evolution, me & other freaks of nature.. A LOT of romance.. and Pete Hautman. What about you?

I have a book by Marian Keyes (an Irish author.. if you didn't know) to take away with me on holiday. I also have To Kill a Mockingbird that I just haven't had time to read yet, The Time Traveller's wife, and Across the Nightingale floor by Lian Hearns.

I tried to read To Kill a Mockingbird last year.. it kind of bored me a bit, though I do seem to be a bit younger then you. As for the rest, I have never heard of them.
