What AP's are you taking?

Last year I took AP Biology and AP Eng. Comp.
This year I have AP Chemistry, AP Eng Lit, and AP Music Theory

I don't like how I had to pay over 200 dollars for the testing this year D'X

You can't get a fee-waiver? wink

no the fee waivers/discount our school provides are only for families with low income. it's just, paying so much money for the tests.. it pressures me to pass XD.. i better get a good score.

same here. well they're on different days but yeah, they start the second week of may.
hah i have SAT's on may 2nd also..

Omg, yes, I have the SAT on May 2 as well. The first official SAT I will take...and hopefully it'll be good enough so I don't have to retake it in senior year. 3nodding I've been taking a preparation course since March, it actually helped...I'm looking forward to a good score! 4laugh

hmmm well. the class itself was hard to pass. the exam I passed with only a 3(lowest passing score xD), but thats not bad, since i was struggling so bad in it. idk, it was my hardest class last year. I think if you really like the subject, and interested in that field of science, go for it. lol but i wasn't haha, my parents pushed me to do it.

omg, it's also my first official SAT ^0^! aahhh hope you do well!!!
will you be taking the ACT too?

(sigh) None right now, I'm not allowed to in Sophomore year at this school. Next year though, I'll be taking AP English, AP Chemistry, and AP World History x.o

I'm not sure if I want to pursue science as a major in college or not...but I know I did enjoy regular biology when I took it freshman year. I liked bio much more than chem and physics mrgreen .
I don't think I'll be taking the ACT...because most colleges accept either of them. And I have no clue what the ACT looks like so I'm sticking with the SAT.
Also, ACT includes a science section...which means doing chem problems and stuff...i forgot all that stuff. xd
If you don't mind me asking, how are your scores for the SAT (if you've been doing practice exams)?

my SAT's practice scores haven't been excellent. but it's over average(1550 i think is average). my first practice test I got a 1640, and the second I got a 1720. But I really want to aim for the 1800.

I'm thinking COlumbia, but then again it's really hard to get into and I have virtually no extracurriculars. And I don't really want to travel so far from home. I live in NYC. WHich colleges are you considering?
