I have really been giving it some thought when i am done with high school i may wait a year or i will just go straight into the army I need some help thinking about this. I already have 1 of my friends in the army and my Dad was as well so i guess i will follow his steps....

if you have doubt don't do it. It's the longest and intense 19 weeks of your life. People yelling at you lime your s**t, u get in trouble for others get smoked whiched is punishment exercise that burns u out. Then ait is boring as he'll, now I'm out ait and the actual army is soooo boring.... Go if you want.....it is a bit of a fun adventure

It sounds like you're not sure what you really want to do with your life. Joining the armed forces isn't a decision to do lightly. Just because your dad was in it isn't a valid reason. You have to really think through if that life will be one for you. You will have to go through bootcamp which is debasing as hell. The belief is, they must tear you down to rebuild you into a fighting machine. You have to realize you will be deployed in war zones. You will risk being killed or severely wounded. The commitment is great and you have to think about how much you are willing to risk for this service.
