Time has always been in balance with darkness and light countering one another to prevent an overthrow in power. Creation has existed for 69,000,000,00 (or 69 billion years). Races have not been at war with one another for 1 million years. But, as all good things in life, even peace comes to an end.
Those that are alive have come up with a show called, "Bleach". They weren't entirely off about it. There are those in the land of death that protect the world. Many things from this show was based on real life, including the abilities. Kido is actually using their magical elemental abilities. Spiritual Pressure is actually their auras being used. Attacking with swords isn't the only weapon that's real. Every weapon imaginable exists. During the peace, this show was created.
There were a few different 'Realms'. One was of the Realm of the Soul Reapers. They were the ones that tried to keep balance and helped souls move on properly. Then there was the Realm of the Soul Stealers. They were the exact opposite of the soul reapers and tried to take the souls for themselves. If they were unable to, they would eat them or kill them. The place they would look after are the Hemispheres of Life. This is the only place that holds those that are alive. But, it is a very important place. The Realm of Hell is where the Soul Reapers were able to place the souls that were evil enough and were caught. And the Realm of Twilight is a place outside of life and death. They exist outside of them and are the perfect balance of good and evil. This is the place where the three Twilight Guardians lived. One was over the Realm of the Soul Stealers. One was over the Realm of the Soul Reapers. And the last one was over the Hemispheres of life.
Those in the Realm of Twilight, were those on earth who had the power of darkness and light and have already passed. There are the top three who keep watch over the three realms. Land of The Soul Reapers, Hemispheres of Life, and the Realm of the Soul Stealers. The Realm of Twilight has always been in peace and balance. But, with the betrayal of the Twilight Guardian over the Realm of the Soul Stealers, The other two Twilight Guardians attempted to put things back to order...but too late Seeing his plans were going to be foiled, the Twilight watcher over the Realm of the Soul Stealers attacked the other two before they knew it. Damaging their memory, the other two fell from the realm into their realms they guarded over. One in the Soul Reaper's realm and one in The Realm of Life. With the balance thrown off, the Twilight Guardian over the Soul Stealers was forced to go into their realm.
Now, 13 enemies have gathered power from the Land of the Soul Stealers backed by their Watcher and have been increasing in power as time has passed. They have been gaining followers in both the Realm of Hell and in the Hemispheres of Life. Only the Soul Reapers and those in the Hemispheres of Life can stop it. It wouldn't be so hard to fight, if they weren't so similar to everyone else, but evil. Without the other two Watchers, they might not make it. If the balance ever shifts too much, then the Realm of Twilight shall spill onto the world and it will be covered in a power that was never meant to be placed upon the world. If the world is ever filled with the power of Twilight, then it shall be destroyed and the resulting shockwave of destruction will affect and devistate both realms of the dead.
