Sister Yuki
Envy turned her head to Fire and smiled. "I'm glad to see that you two have done well in my absents, and escaped the terror that unfolded in our last home" the child in her arms turned her head to fire and coughed up blue flames then smiled and rubbed her little face into her mothers soft jacket. It was then Envy noticed Fire's apparent surprised look at her little one. "Is there something the matter Fire? I swear she won't bite...not just yet she's still all gums" a soft chuckle left her mouth as she brought her long bushy tail up and wrapped it around the child. This baby was new to everyone but Pride and her older brother, during her growing stage she was kept in a tube in one of Pride's labs. So naturally she would be a shock to anyone who saw her, but Envy loved the to see those kinds of looks in anyone.
The words the motherly Envy spoke ran through his mind like a flaming chariot driven by an angry horseman. They echoed in his mind as his looked on at the infant. He knew staring was rude but be somehow couldn't look away.
"I just haven't seen a child in a while..." Of course, he had meant a couple hundred years.
"Remember they're pretty fun to be around..." his thoughts turned into flashbacks of him holding up a small tiger humanoid upon his shoulders. They were both smiling and laughing and having fun. The memory burned away as if being erased entirely.
"...but I'm not too good with them." Fire said as another memory found it's way into his conscious. The small tiger girl screamed almost endlessly as she fell into a white abyss. He was on the edge having just caught her, only to have his arms cut off by the shadowy figure behind him. Fire saw his own horrified face in that vision and listened to the same frightened cry all over again.
Suddenly, a hissing sound had brought his attention back to reality as it was the sound of a lone tear hitting the side of Envy's throne. The trail instantly dried on his face and covered the spot on the throne with his arm until it dried. This wasn't exactly the place to show that side of him. Fire looked back up at Miss Envy and the small child. With a big grin, he questioned her.
"Does she have a name?" A faint scream of a young girl echoed in his mind then ceased entirely. Just another thing he had to forget.
