The Church of Mother is located on the outskirts of Aekea in a small yet moderate town. It is a quiet place surrounded by trees and a large lake. And is protected by a strange being called Mother to some and Ni to others, as well as the snake Queen Nixi who resides up in the thick woods. The town is a long drive from any main city but it is not hard to find.

The town is not what one would call a rich town, the houses are nice and well kept but nothing is extravagant. There are cars and trucks, football parties for game day all the nice regular things. There is even a little general store that sells small things like house needs and a few food stuff, but all the big stores are out of the town.

TOWN LAY OUT:
The Church itself resides in a meadow a good 10 minute walk from the town itself along with an orphanage that is up on the hill behind the church. The church isn't a very large building, its a modest church and the orphanage is a large building to hold the children from toddlers to their teens. Most of the residents have come from the orphanage or have wondered in one day and not left.

There is a large park in the middle of the town, a common meeting place for some, and others just a nice relaxing place to go to.

The pub is a large family friendly environment. The drinking age is 18 years old, and the bar keep is stern on no underage drinking. There is a upstairs to the pub, for people to rent rooms to stay if they wish.

The store is a small store, like a dollar store. It has some articles of clothing, knick-knacks and basic food things. But for regular shopping it would be best to take the trip to a main town in Aekea.

The lake is surprisingly clean and large. It has its deep spots and sudden drop offs, but a good place to hang out with friends or the family, or get lost in some deep thoughts.

The woods are thick and heavy with nature. It is relatively safe since Nixi keeps most of the beasts in line, but still one shouldn't go too deep in at late times by themselves.
