I'd say, it's all about analysis, and precision, maybe.
See an item, wait for awhile, and see the graphs. Both graphs, price and units sold(it'll be called demand if we follow economics XD).
Take example Anima Adamantea.
It'll be easier if you look straightly on the marketplace and open the graphs, and pick for one year graph.
As you can see there, the price will follow the demand for this item. When people wants them, alot of people, then they'd sell high, but you'll see that when people less need them, the price also follow to decrease.
Market play, I'd say, is hard ><

And the one that got me right now is the Elemental Spirits, which is probably for decent gold workers it's not that pricey, but still, the graphs shows something that's not that good...

I can understand if this is a new item, but still, after a downfall, it risen up high again while the buyers are still going down?!
That's pretty much a strong gamble, because if the buyuers aren't going to rise, then there'll only be one or two of those high-priced sellings that's going to be sold before the price going into a downfall...

My friend's trick is to make inflation, usually using the hard shell turtle pack.
He bought two, the first was put in the stor with a reasonable price, and the other one's for the inflation key; he sold it in millions price, making the average price risen, and so does the market price. A tricky sinister one @_@;

Some spoilers of the intro of my recent story~
I have not much inspiration for the starter, so I took a little from my morning's story instead XD

Just unbelievable. How many teaspoon was it? Five? Or it's been as much as two spoons? Whatever it is, I managed to get awake in five minutes, while I only got two hours sleep. I even usually can't get awake in four hours sleep, but in two hours? That's a record. "DING DONG!" I raised my head, taking it out from the water curtains that came off from the shower. 'What kind of people that would came this early? Newspaper?' I turned off everything, I'm done bathing, and started to wear the clothes. Lucky that the clothes aren't get wet, I forgot to put it in the basket. But then, what's with the sudden silence? I slowly get closer to the door, and heard something like an electricity spark. "Bzzssttt" That's how it sounds like. Now I wonder... I climbed up to peek from the ventilation. I see blood, and suddenly, someone dressed up like a SWAT walked past with a silenced gun. I get down slowly. 'I see... So they've killed my family' I took a back brush that's made from wood. Like it or not, it's pointed if you took the brush out from the stick. I tried to eavesdrop to what are they whispering. It wasn't clear, but I can hear it. "... One more family member..." Is the only thing I can heard. 'So they knew...' I'm not an assassin, a ninja, or someone who could beat them off. I mean, well, duh, they must've trained to stand on normal punches. I grinned. 'Well, if they're strong, then I'd better be stronger!' My eyes widened, if I were a cat or something, my pupils must be like, become smaller or something like so. I've been dressed, a 'weapon' is on my hand, now's time to go. I quickly opened the door, a little bit hard to react, since the door's opened to the inside. Then I stabbed one of those fake SWAT's head with the brush stick. The other one? I just hold his neck and clinch it hard, probably cracked the throat. "Oh well, both dead aready. I thought they'll be much stronger in physic" I took their guns with the ammo. Well, just one gun. USP, huh? Not a bad 'civil' weapon. I then heard footsteps and see three other man prepared themselves to attack. I managed to shot one of them on the head. I didn't mean to do so, though. But it turns out that they're just amateurs, trying to assassinate me with a stupid pattern. Why the hell did they shot me alternately? One came out, shoot, done, and then change to the other, shoot, done, change again, and so on. Why don't they shoot me together at once? "Amateurs" I walked closer to the hallway's door, and shot the one hiding behind the wall twice, one's on the chest, hopefully the heart, and other's on the hand that holds the SMG's trigger, so that he won't shot me on his life's edge. The other one? He's behind the WOODEN door, so obviously, I try to shoot on the right position, three bullets. I peeked in, he died. "Damn" I looked on the other that I shot. He's in a great pain. Just a little while, he's dead. But I dragged him anyway. My house's two-level, the ones on the upper floor has prepared the ambush, but I've DONE it before, when playing with my little brother, so I tried to shoot the chest, but missed, and pierced his skull instead. I sighed, "There goes another death" I can see my family's corpses, five of them. My father, mother, my little brother, my older sister, and the maid. I throw the guy I shot and stepped on his hand that I shot. "Why did you kill them? Tell me!" I pressed the hand a little bit. "It... It's an order from the higher rate, we're just pawns... I swear I don't know!" Well, fine, I'm just in a neutral mood these days, so there goes, I'll let him die. Right when I pointed the gun at him, he talked. "W... Wait! Wait! Raman, the name's Raman Silgore, he said that your father and his family deserves death!" I stepped on his chest, a little bit pressed it. "Why?! For no reason?!" I pushed him a little bit more. "He... Said... Your father's... Know..." Before he finishes, he died. Oh well, I shot him on the heart, indeed. Suddenly, I felt something's coming around. 'Another one's left' I stand up, and waits. While waiting, of course, I shoot up. Those amateurs just didn't know how well I can feel people's presence. Well, luckily that shot hits the head, so I shouldn't bother torturing this guy. But that's not the one I'm looking for. There's this strong aura emanates from somewhere...
