Bryozoans are tiny colonial animals that generally build stony skeletons of calcium carbonate, superficially similar to coral (although some species lack any calcification in the colony and instead have a mucilaginous structure). Members of the Phylum bryozoa are known as "moss animals" or "moss animacules" (which is the literal translation of the Greek term βρυόζωα, "bryózoa" wink or as "sea mats". They generally prefer warm, tropical waters, but are known to occur worldwide. There are about 8,000 living species, with several times that number of fossil forms known.

I do learn something new every day on Gaia. If you google it, class there are a number of lovely pics of other members of this species.

But those things dont suck up inside themselves like the nasty blob did. :[

Btw how goes the arranged marriage

Why do people keep saying that?

Believe it. I saw zerg within Confederate holding pens myself, and that was over a year ago. It's clear the Confederates have known of these creatures for some time. For all we know they could be breeding the things!
Ha, first thing I was actually reminded me of was the blobs that the drones form as they're growing into a structure. rofl
Kudos to you, by the way.

Despite them being Bryozoa, they seriously do look like something out of some sort of alien film.

. I looked at plenty of bryozoa and those things do not look like, or move like the pulsating oozing masses sitting on the sewer walls.

Besides what kind of healthy animal like that which usually lives in swamps and rivers survives in a SEWER?

Because the dont! Look at that blob and the way it sticks to the wall and look at a bryozoa. A bryozoa is basically like a seasponge that just sits there. It could not stick to a wall. They float in the water.

You know, you're starting to sound pretty silly. Especially since these so called monsters were examined and were found to be bryozoa.

Im totally ready to accept that there is some way of explaining them. Maybe they are balls of worms or something else but they dont look or move like bryozoa.

Now you're starting to sound ignorant and oblivious as I just said that they were already explained by scientists as bryozoa.

http://blogs.howstuffworks.com/2009/06/30/very-very-weird-sewer-creatures-caught-on-camera-or-how-bryozoa-work/

Quote:
An aquatic specialist from the DOW confirmed that what the camera had discovered was actually a Bryozoan, a primitive life form that, as a species, is over 350 million years old.

The Bryozoans are collections of smaller organisms that filter food out of the water supply, and they are an extremely primitive “animal” life form.

Wow, if you actually read part of even the Wikipedia, you would know that there are 8000 types.

BUT 5 OF THEM DON'T REACT TO LIGHT OR HAVE TENTACLES, SO OBVIOUSLY THEY CANNOT BE IN ANY WAY RELATED AT ALL!!! scream
