Did Jesus say anything about the crucifixion being a sacrifice?

Yes. In John 6 where he instituted the Holy Eucharist. If you are wondering if the redemptive sacrafice is strictly Pauline, I do have this apologetic to offer:

SOURCE

These are good questions.

I'm curious how much of Christianity is Pauline, actually.

I never said that the dietary laws WEREN'T taken back. I said most of those laws WERE, actually. And Mark is a better place to look for a quote about dietary laws. "Thus God declaired all foods clean."

I was not posting in any relation to you, but to a questioning soul who wanted Bible verses from someone that was not Paul detailing the repeal of the Law.

After Christ, Paul had the strongest effect on Christianity. Peter did found the church, which was important, but Paul spread God's Word to the Gentiles, who did not have the benefit of having been around the area Christ taught in or being near the first church. Since Christianity is mostly a Gentile followed religion, Paul's effect was stronger.

If you were ONLY talking to one person, there IS this little thing called a PM.

And deny the others answers if they wish to see them? Would you hide God's Word in a bushel?

Besides. The quote system has a neat little feature where it shows who is being quoted. For example, right now, your name is on top. Therefore, chances are that I am responding to you.

Well....didn't think about that. Sorry.

And why would I want this?

This isn't a trick question, mind you. I'm being completely serious. Every single description of paradise I have ever heard sounds like a frightfully boring place. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the first few billion years are great, but I can't recall any specific passages alluding to what Siphillis just mentioned. With that in mind, it sounds like I'd have a rather boring time of it after I fulfilled my desire to see the inner workings of the universe in action for the trillionth time, and no matter how awesome this state is, I can't imagine my imperfect human mind every being satisfied. Unless YHWH reaches down and removes some of what makes me, in a very real sense human, this really just sounds like an offer to sit in a room with forty movies to watch for all eternity. No thanks. I'll take oblivion.

Don't really give much of a crap about sex because I'm probably the biggest loser this side of loserville. Never even had a girlfriend that wasn't online. I would moreso care if there was a lack of weed.

'Course, Revelation 21 says that heaven will simply be the New Jerusalem and God will simply live among men in the New Jerusalem...so I don't really see how the bit about angels fits in there. That aside, though, it's time for the final question:

Can you prove that Christianity is the only true religion - that is, can you prove that the only way to obtain paradise is to be Christian? Furthermore, can you prove that your god exists and that we will indeed obtain this paradise?

I'd heard some talk of contradictions between Paul and Jesus, but I had dismissed them as something like a conspiracy theory. I'm not a theologian, so I was wondering if anyone could clear that up for me.

One of those contradiction allegations.

Please clarify. If you're asking a question...I first need to UNDERSTAND it.
The Christian claim of their God being absolute is undermined by the similarities between the religion of the Ancient Greeks and the Christian dogma. The parallels between the religions are too strong to be ignored. Therefore it is illogical for people to blindly follow a single deity based on your claims.

Also, if God is all knowing and all powerful, then any conversation that argues for his nonexistence happens because he made it happen.

Now I get the question.
Why prove Christianity is the ONLY way to paradise? Not even Christians believe that. We believe that the only way to obtain Paradise is through Christ and Christ alone.

...You're joking. The question was pretty simple; 'Why would I wish to see Paradise? It sounds rather dull to me.'

In the immortal words of Sir Benitar: "What?"

Those statements are contradictory.
