Just for shits and giggles, I'll jump in here. Actually, George Kapland is correct. God is a omnipotent being, not neccessarily the one the Jewish, Christians and Muslims worship. ((BTW, Allah MEANS "God" in Arabic. Like gato means "cat" in Spanish. They are the same word in a different language.))

And Wiccans refer to their gods (see how this is not capitalized) as The God and Goddess. Because they are an oath-bound religion, they do not use the actual name of their god and goddess to non-oathbound people. So they refer to them as The God and Goddess. But it is still capitalized

They actually use the Lord and Lady, which if I remember correctly are titles.

They use that as well, but they also refer to them as the God and Goddess.

Who? I've never met a lineaged Wiccan that did as such. Especially ones that also worshiped other deities, because dear god that would get confusing.

What you do not know, is a lot. Why in the heck are people so attracted to this thread???? confused

So, is this like the twin thread of the "I'm an atheist" thread? Where all the believers go to try to convince an atheist to believe? I am a believer but I pick the low hanging fruit. I don't knock myself out to reach someone who is daring you that you never can.

If it was God, he would've had your mind changed. I'm meerely human, and a follower of God. I'm willing to help out my shepherd if he can the "the dirty work", and that's washing your sins away so that you can be a born again Christian.

Well, Lord Setar kind of addressed this with his satirical claim that he was actually God. But otherwise it was rather ignored; mainly because we were trying to convince her that she was wrong from a Christian point of view.

Setar has a good head on his shoulders.. I'll accept what he's said.

Actually, given that I'm a Satanist the comment's not really satirical. Now, the religion, that was made up on the spot. Seriously, who the ******** calls their concept of hell "Toronto"?
