I still don't see how what you did was standing up for yourself or justifiable. All it looks like to me is that you got pissed off that someone called you unattractive. You got what somewhat of what you deserved, but you should have gotten more for assaulting the guy. You in now way were in any danger so it wasn't self defense. I get people get angry enough to wear you want to punch someone, but by standing up for yourself you just had to make some witty comment back or, I dunno, maybe just ignore him. Let me just take it upon myself to say; What a coincidence, all of you would try and rationalize the physical assault of another man for making a joke, as OP did. Oh but she's female she has carte-blanche when it comes to rape scenarios because rape is more prevalent of women. Another coincidence most of you have the letter "I" as the first letter in your usernames, you all must think you're eccentric for standing up for breaking laws! Violence!
