My Aunt Kami has cancer (though she's recovering now- YIPPIE!), so I (slightly) know how VO feels. heart

EDIT: Also, my great aunt died from cancer not too long ago.

I feel really sad for VO and his father now. When I read his dad's story it reminds me alot of my dad. He came from India without even enough to pay the cab driver that drove him from the airport to his brother's, just like VO's dad came here with almost nothing. He accomplished alot and became successful starting from scratch, just like VO's dad. And he had some pretty bad health complications a few years ago and luckily he was fine afterward. But I can really imagine what VO has to be feeling, knowing that such a strong man isn't going to be around soon. I just hope VO spends all the time he can with his dad and focuses on enjoying the time left. His dad reminds me alot of mine, and I so wish it didn't have to be this way, because I sympathise.

My friend's mom had breast cancer...
I know how it feels to have someone you know have cancer....
And she was rather close to me, so I understand a bit more, though VO has it a bit worse.
I can drop a whip and add a daffodil for the cause.
