Welcome to Gaia! ::

Sparkly Seeker

My mom told me to so my stuff doesn't get stolen and she said if it does that the person can be sued. However, people have ways of removing the copyright and making it look like it's their artwork. So, © or no ©? What's your opinion ?

lol the symbol won't make any difference. Just use deviant art's watermark...
And don't worry. Most people don't make good enough art worth steeling.

Charitable Nymph

Signing is a way to keep it.
Sign somewhere it can not be edited
lol if they try itll be noticable

it's my baby so I care a lot about my art. Not just the art, but the ideas are mainly important.

if the thought of someone else getting attention/making money off of your art then yes, copyright it

I know a dude personally who inflated his portfolio with the works of at least 20 different people, someone called him out on another website and e-mailed every single person whose art he stole
