I think it's funny when I hear about them complaining about the 2 people that have brought you into the world.

Sometimes the people who bring you into the world are shitty. Not talking about OP's parents, though, but it happens. Also it's not like we want to come into this world either.

The last part of what you said, it's not like you can even think that when you're being born (aside from the obvious birth-whatnot and being cold for a brief moment).

Well that's pretty obvious, but what I'm trying to get at is that just because someone brought you into this world it means they have to have your utmost respect. Ideally and according to society's rules, you're supposed to respect your parents, but I believe that if they haven't given you any reasons to respect them, you're not obliged to do so. After all, respect is earned.

I don't consider my self normal and that most people would drive my parents beyond the point of hair pulling. As they see me now as spoiled sheltered child.

I feel as though I have been taken for granted, being an easy kid to raise. Today well, I feel like ranting about it witch is out of character of me. A little back ground first I am and 18 year senior and this would be my last year leaving at home. I have always been vary modest, frugal, trustworthy, responsible, and yes a goody to shoe kind of person when it come to my morals. I'm in a average middle class family. My dad however started going back to collage and I now have a one year old brother.

I have Never
◔ Had my school, a hospital, neighbors, or the police ever contact my parents.
◔ Got a ticked or crashed a car
◔ Gotten in a fight
◔ Needed dental work, or broken a bone
◔ Failed or cheated in a class
◔ Done drugs or gotten drunk
◔ Brung drunken and/or high friends home
◔ Curse or complain
◔ Monopolies their time
◔ Spend money on cloths or food
◔ Ask for new things
◔ Say no to helping out
◔ Late or responsible

What they don't think about
◔ My parents never had time to teach me drive, got my licence at 18
◔ I even remember learning to read and tie my shoes on my own.
◔ We truly have moved on average every 4 years, new school, new friends, new home
◔ For cloths I spend maximum of 3 shirts and two jeans each year. (I don't care for much)
◔ For lunch $3 for a small slice of pizza and chips
◔ It takes them weeks to sign anything for my school.
◔ I have rarely ever gotten rides to places I need or wanted to go
◔ I'm a neet freak I always clean my room, bathroom and our living room
◔ I am a A-B student and taking an extra 2 hours of medical / pharmacy classes after school
◔ We no longer go out as a family, eat out, movie, ext (last 3 years)
◔ Parents stop celebrating holidays witch was family time to me (last 4 years)
★ I Love music and art
◔ My parents don't recognize what I like or who I am
◔ Have missed many concerts of my favorite bands in town, cause I needed money or a ride.
◔ I do have an Ipod nano, though it has no screen and no memory whats so ever.
◔ Got my first phone on my 18th birthday for texting only, no music, no apps, no calls, no web
◔ All my friends are not the best of people, they love them drugs, beer, raves, and sex
◔ My cousin has set his house on fire before, gotten arrested numerous times, been in many accidents, and lately dated 3 chicks at once and knocked up two of them.
◔ Lol moment when friend comes to your house with his 4th new car since learning to drive. Has his newest IPhone, laptop, and Ipad with him using it right in my living room.

Well surprised this forum lasted so long and I keep reading all the comments. Most people bitched allot however making good points at the same time. I'm sorry those with abusive parents or those who lived in poverty life's a b***h and I don't have it bad at all compared to them. Whether you believe me not is your choose but I don't complain allot so sorry when I do. I love my family yet I have already planed to move out when I can. Just kinda need to finish high school first along with my internship at Walgreens. I will be living on a collage campus wail working as a pharmacy technician. All my grades and finances have been looked through and I now have the ok to go as soon as I graduate.
You've never cursed? I find that very hard to believe.

True, but then again, earning respect is a two-way street.

Reality says so (and common sense too).
