I enjoyed Merzbow, from what I've heard so far. Not a new favorite artist or anything, but it's decent.
I just can't escape Alec Empire. I hear about him all the time.
I'll finally listen to it now.

Merzbow's kind of like a harsher Oval. So if you like Oval, you'll most likely like Merzbow.
And I'm glad that you hear a lot about Alec Empire: He's an excellent producers, one of my favorite, honestly. He is the producer that actually turned me on from Punk to EDM(Not saying that Alec's Punk-ish stuff is bad, it's all revolutionary gold).
That's the thing about Breakcore: It merges Hardcore Punk AND EDM into one. And it's so weird, butr it just works. The in-your-face sound is much more complex and intricate than OONTZOONTZOONTZ.
And if not for Breakcore, I wouldn't even know what Drum and Bass is. crying
And yeah, MTV had a lot of underground, Punk-ish stuff in the 80's and 90's. But beginning in the beginning of the 21st century, their shows went downhill.....so.....fast. mad

They make too much money off Jersey Shore to cut it. Plus, at this point, it's killing itself. People are getting fed up with the idiots on it. Don't see how it took them three or four seasons or however many there are, but I guess some people think slowly. lol
