If I understand this correctly, you will ban people on a based on a certain opinion or past action?

Before I explain, here is my disclaimer. I don't condone or support murder, rape, child molestation, child pornography or any crime for that matter.

That being said, people pay for their mistakes through the legal system and they shouldn't be banned from a website (especially one like Gaia) based on actions someone took in the past that had absolutely nothing to do with your website or it's members. Saying you have been convicted of murder or indecent liberties or rape all would violate your posted rules and be ban-able but all have obviously been taken care of from a legal standpoint.

The most horrible thing posted there is the one on *****. Would you ban someone for being gay? How about having autism? ***** may be bad for you to think about but it is who that person is and is unchangeable, there is nothing illegal about it and there is now help being offered to those to help suppress their feelings so they don't do anything illegal.

I hope you understand that there are, as I have mentioned, items you are saying you will ban people for that are not illegal and it makes your website seem to direct hate towards specific people. I am considering donating all my items and gold and leaving Gaia for this. I don't want to be associated with hate mongering bigots. I have a form of autism, what if you direct your ******** hate towards me because of it?

I agree with most of what you said except for the bit about them starting to discriminate you for having a form of autism since that's not closely related to any criminal offenses. Anyone saying otherwise is either looking for a scapegoat and/or doesn't really understand people with autism.

I trust Gaia Online not to make that kind of mistake.

I chose that as an example because it is something that is a part of me that I cannot change, much like ***** is a part of a *****. It is unchangeable and they shouldn't be discriminated for it. Again it isn't okay to have sex with children, that said their ingrained attraction cannot change and can be controlled so that it isn't acted upon. As well as being a ***** not being a crime either.

Hmm....I have my own opinions on the Public Service Announcement but I see some valid points. They haven't a clue if you're being serious or not therefore they must make a judgment call on your cases. Honestly speaking, you really just have to watch what you say as your words may be enough to set up a chain of explosive events that once started cannot be undone or stopped. It will be like the oncoming storm. You've no idea when it comes, only that it will come and just like that you haven't the faintest control of when it will end. So the best that you can do is watch what you say and keep as close to the Terms of Service as you can. That's all I have to say on this. They've expressed this countless times and yet no one does them any honor through closing off their minds and their ears to their warnings.
