well, i was looking into wicca for a bit, because i wanted a real earth-based religion. then i learned about the fertility side of it...not for me sweatdrop plus, i dont really believe in the god or goddess. but i do believe in two higher spirits. its kinda complicated.

You know what Wicca is really about? And you acknowledge you're not Wiccan?? And not trying to change the definition of Wicca???

and honestly, i thought that people would know that, especially if they call themselves wiccan.
but i know that i dont know anything, i'll say that right now. im 16. i've just started life and i have a lot to learn. That's part of the reason why i made this thread, to learn from it. I crave knowledge about other pagan religions. but honestly, im just to darn lazy to search the internet. id rather read books or talk to other people.

and its no lie alot of pagan based religious people later will most likely come in and rip into this threat because alot of the things you have to learn is from reading. especially if you want to join into a coven which you have to be eighteen to do for the fact alot of them do the sky clad gatherings, chants and spells.

ive actually seen two or three threads like this i can bring them back up to the front if they are still in my subscriber. they actually have more info for beginners and such and older people who have more experience actually help out in them if the questions are reasonable enough.

and i know i have to read, i can just concentrate better if im reading a book. I think its the fact that im touching the book and i feel more cozy. i dont know if anyone else is like that.

im not saying its going to fail or anythings is more of a warning, its happened before. but if you explain it right, they could help make this thread thrive. alot of older members are really helpful and explain alot of the finer points of the religions and such so you get a better grasp.

as most things though you will get obnoxious flamers so its best to ignore them and just continue with people who actually do have interest in or are pagan religioned.

but youve already answered them alot of newbs tend to be madien hill types from a traditional belief base but choose another path for what they go into. like more earth based lessons

and theres also a couple types of magic and you like white. i tend to fall more into a gray based magic that has effects of whatever im projecting being good or bad. while i know many who will say magic is magic so it doesnt matter
