It can be a free PDF text file. There's one at Sacred-Texts.com as well. My point is that it's not just some text you should be throwing around for everyone to read. Do you WANT people to get in over their heads with demonic entities?

I certainly don't. That'd be like offering a whole bottle of vodka to Loki -- not a smart idea.
You make a valid point, but seriously doubt anyone on this thread that doesn't know what their doing will have the reasources to correctly preform a HIGH RITUAL spell.

Probably not, but correctly performing the ritual is just one way of doing it.

One could also INCORRECTLY perform the ritual. What happens if they manage to envoke the demon king Belial and do not know how to properly banish him? What happens if they do not know the correct seals?
But the likelyhood of them being able to draw the summoning circle correctly and not know how to make the correct seals is low. Since the two are in the same section it's not hard to miss, also will this same type of person we are talking about have the paitence and attention span to draw the summoning sigil in the first place? Because it is a complicated and massive monster of a sigil. Also will they be able to pronounce the word of power correctly?
now im scared to read it xD is that bad??

and, i know that this is off topic, but what is black magic? is there a website that someone could give me that i could learn about the different magics out there??

I agree that the likelihood of anyone actually being able to properly draw the sigil is low, however I still can't help but want to refrain from just throwing that book around for referential reading on the off-chance that some moron summons a demon, makes a pact with it, and then gets royally screwed over.
You can read it, but I would not suggest trying to practice any of it. I don't even practice it my self I just enjoy learning about it.

Yes, that is true, but again the chance of the average moron being able to summon an infernal being with any form of power is probably around 0.0005%. Plus I doubt they will have the attenioj span to read the entire book, and they keys for summoning are scattered thruout all of the books

((I am throughly enjoying this argument, you are an intelligent person my friend))
.....i am so torn right now gonk

so, should i read it or not?
as long as you don't try anything in it I don't see a reason why not to. It's completely up to you
Childofconflict
The reason for the large amounb of dietys is that I do alot of spellwork and I like to envoke the name of whatever deity I feel suites the spells purpose the best. So I try to pray as many as possible so they will be willing to help me.

Yea, I bet you totally walk up to random strangers and ask for $100 dollar loans too.
It's really pretty disrespectful to just call up a deity that you have no working relationship with and ask them to help you do this or that. I would say it's even pretty disrespectful to those who have formed a strong relationship with a deity.

Scuba: I wouldn't worry about reading it right now. It's more geared for Ceremonial Magic than witchcraft 3nodding .
i will probably read it later on down the line. I dont feel comfortable reading it right now.

But does anyone know of any rituals or spells that honor the Moon and Sun, or the elements???

I say don't get involved with any ceremonial magic for awhile, it's not recommended, from me at least.

And I read the first few pages with the whole Wiccan argument. And I honestly hate that argument. I made some huge mistakes throwing around the word Wicca, because while I knew it was a fertility religion, I still allowed "Pop-Wicca" to inluence me too much. I made a huge a** of myself not properly expressing my knowledge of Wicca.

Sometimes I make the mistake of looking at religion from a purely historian and language point of view, and while I know it's unfair to Wiccans that this is happening because it is a misconception to their religion, that their religion is spreading in a direction that they don't want it to because of popular information that is being spread way to fast without being corrected. THat's the pithole I fell into, being misinformed and trying to argue my point (which was wrong from a religious perspective).

The problem is that, because religions and words (like Wicca) are living and evolving, they change to something that their are not and acquire second albeit wrong meanings. Going from Fertility cult to Earth-based religion which is wrong but unfortunately it is happening to them and makes new people to paganism come off as morons when they say they are an Ecclectic Wiccan (which is one of those second albeit COMPLETELY wrong meanings)

Stay away from Pop-Wicca or what is sometimes called Neo-Wicca because it is misinformation about Wicca, I still feel like a total fluff and moron for allowing myself to fall into that trap. Damn you Ravenwolf.
