The problem here for me isn't the long-term so much as the fact that those amps were up to 90K+. Some people expecting 70-80K Legitimately cannot afford that. Since amps are pretty much a requirement for most DMS crews, this hurts many people's chances at joining or doing a run. It's not like an equippable item where you'll be rejected if you aren't wearing it.
Also, I remember an age where revives would run 30-40K tops and now you're lucky to find them at 56K. My friend mass-flooded them at 56-60K and they've never gone back quite right. So this could affect amp the same way.
Those amps were 90k+ because people bought the listings that were less than 90k. I understand that not everyone is able to invest more than 70k-80k into amps at a time, but since amps are “pretty much a requirement for most DMS crews” there are people who are willing to pay 81k-90k for a pack of amps when they’re in a pinch and want to DMS, which is why the ABP had been more than 80k before all this and the LBP is still more than 80k even though people (mostly Abelard) have been flooding the market with listings between 60k and 80k for the past two days.
I think the majority of us who have played DMS a lot now or in the past have experienced times when we were low on Ghi Amps or power-ups in general and were unwilling to pay the LBP. My problem here is the sudden outcry of people blaming and hating on the person with the overpriced LBP listing(s) when this is a competitive market system and he hasn’t done anything wrong (besides maybe being an attention whore in the z!Forums and community lol). I do agree with you that it is unfortunate to lose players who cannot currently afford power-ups.
As for Revives, for the amount of GCash they cost compared to other items it doesn’t make much sense for vendors looking to convert their GCash into gold to sell them for less than 40k and since they are a small item that is usually sells cheaper than that most people would rather invest in an item that they can sell in one quick transaction (like an RIG bundle) rather than try to sell 20+ Revives at one time with the risk of the market deflating again. Moreover it was only last month that Revives were 30k-40k, so it’s way too soon to act like they will never be that price again.
