I need not saying anything else.

Just because one person may find it difficult, doesn't mean it's universally hard. neutral
Perhaps, but I did expose this fool for a hypocrite.
No you didn't. You just ignored my retort.

no I believe he proved you wrong. you first said "video games were never hard. prove you wrong" then you agreed that a need for infinite lives would mean the game is difficult
I bolded the keyword in this sentence.

Also, if games were NEVER hard, then you should be able to beat EVERY GAME EVER MADE WITHOUT DYING ONCE. And, you cant....can you?

So "hard" equals "dying once"?
Fail.

so you were proved wrong and that is also hypocritical to say they arent hard but they are hard if you need infinite lives. you can say that games were never hard. you can say SOME games werent hard. but saying games in general were never hard.....fail

You more or less said, "There is no such thing as a hard game, but if you need more lives than normal, then that game must be hard."
No, she said that it's not a proven fact that games are hard. The amount of difficulty a person finds is an opinion. Like I said, just because one person may find it hard, does not mean it's universally hard, which you agreed to.
In that case, she more or less said, "It's not hard; I just suck."
Maybe. neutral Does that change the fact that games aren't universally hard?

I'm not going to repeat myself. Go back and read.
Failure to go back and read means that you've lost the argument.
Yeah, limited number of lives, blah blah.
Thread creator, was that spamming of old console pics supposed to support your argument?

Games aren't easier today; they're designed better. Would Call of Duty 4 be any more difficult if you had to start the whole level over when you die, as was common in older titles? No. It'd be the same AI, the same enemy tactics, the same bullet damage, etc. All of the factors that decide the difficulty of the game would be the same. It would just be so tedious to actually have to start at the beginning of a level every time you die. This would make the game cease being fun.

Wrong.
You don't even know what I'm talking about because you ignored it and didn't read it.
Or, you just realized that you didn't prove anything.

Guess I win, then.

I wasn't proven wrong.
He still has yet to name me a game where infinite lives were needed.

Also, if games were NEVER hard, then you should be able to beat EVERY GAME EVER MADE without dying once in every level? sure lets go with that. and there are games where you wouldnt be able to do that. you should try "i wanna be the guy" and beat it

So "hard" equals "dying once"?
Fail.
Play most any game on Xbox Live multiplayer and you'll be in for a surprise.
Beating stupidly difficult computer A.I is no where near as satisfying as defeating hordes of highly skilled people.
I'd rather be a true Halo 3 Grade 5 General than a master of say any old game.

But that is just my opinion of course.

Maybe it's that thing where if people think when they identify trolls, they are immune from being trolled.
