Also another point in m littel rant was to also say how easy it is to play new games , I beat almost all the new "good" games I like have had like two games I haven't beat and that most time pepole spend at a game is a good 9 hours. Like look at Halo, Gears, Call of Duty too sempel.

I only haven't beat is Assain's Creed becase I am lazy and it is too tedous for words. Also Prototype (the lesser) and InFomus (The geater) becase I don't have the cash for them.
Something just occured to me...

How the ******** are you gonna play CoD 4 on Veteran and say the ending of the sniper mission was easy?

Answer: You didn't play it.
Virtually any shooter on a "Veteran" difficulty is hard. It's not that the enemies are shooting at you when you're playing higher difficulties - they are, quite literally, shooting you.
And you have less health, they're smarter etc.

Still harder than any old game I've ever played.
I do think it's ridiculous, though, that even if no one could have possibly seen you sneak away from the spot you were at when they were shooting at you, the enemy AI somehow manages to put a couple bullets in your brain as soon as you peek around your new corner.
inorite

That s**t pissed me off. Until I found this nook in one of the buildings I could hide in for 15 minutes. The AI never went near it. It was weird. They threw grenades, though.

Wouldn't the need for infinite lives suggest that a game is, in fact, difficult?
I'd imagine so.
What's your point?

3. Video games were never hard. Prove me wrong.

I need not saying anything else.

Just because one person may find it difficult, doesn't mean it's universally hard. neutral
Perhaps, but I did expose this fool for a hypocrite.
No you didn't. You just ignored my retort.

No, you didn't.
Yeah, well, I only play hardcore games for hardcore gamers such as myself!

1 hit deaths. And when enemies can run faster than you, and touching the enemy causes death, and bullets are flying every which way, it's hard.

Now, Contra 1 wasn't that hard. Contra III and Contra Hard Corpse were hard.
I'm aware what the game is. I've beaten all the old ones.
And as I said. Play the game with extra/infinite lives. The games are much more easily doable, because you have more lenience in the number of times you can screw up.
It's only fake difficulty.
This is what I'm hearing: "Use cheat codes and the game isn't hard."

Well duh. That's what cheat codes are for. Easy mode. The point of Contra and most older games was to get the highest score. A score that is reset to 0 if you use a continue. You must have had one piss poor low score since you kept dieing.

Go back and play the game without cheats, then get back to us, 'kay?
I have.
You're missing the point.
Really?

So it's really easy to get the highest score and not die without using the Konami code?

I wanna see your initials on a leader board.
You play for the score.
I play to beat the game.
You're still missing the point.
You don't play Contra to beat the game. You play for the highest score.

You're missing the point of what arcade games are for. Initials on the top of a leader board.

You more or less said, "There is no such thing as a hard game, but if you need more lives than normal, then that game must be hard."

no I believe he proved you wrong. you first said "video games were never hard. prove you wrong" then you agreed that a need for infinite lives would mean the game is difficult

No, she said that it's not a proven fact that games are hard. The amount of difficulty a person finds is an opinion. Like I said, just because one person may find it hard, does not mean it's universally hard, which you agreed to.

And?
Also, if games were NEVER hard, then you should be able to beat EVERY GAME EVER MADE WITHOUT DYING ONCE. And, you cant....can you?

Failure to go back and read means that you've lost the argument.

Why does it matter how many times you die?
