god, I used to be such a huge green day fan. Now the only songs I still listen to from them are Jesus of Suburbia and some of their stuff from warning.

Ugh I liked Dookie when I was like 12.

The only song I still like by them is Jaded, which I will admit too since it's teh internets.

The members of Green Day aren't even musicians anymore. They're nothing but celebrities.

Their OOOOOOOOOOOOOLD music is tolerable, but they're new stuff is discomforting to listen to.

Let alone to watch live or on VH1 or MTV. Dear God! could they possiblely be anymore cliche with their stage antics and music videos.

I'm still lolling at the fact the OP thinks they write their own music.

I like Greenday - old Greenday, anyhow. Makes me nostalgic. And y'know, alternative kids have to have some mainstream, poppy stuff in their vocabularies too, or they'd have nothing to converge on.
