I feel you - I hate slang. And when people use stupid colloqualisms. Like a couple weeks ago my brother said he was "chapped" and I was like "what the ******** does that mean?" and then I told him he needs to use words that everyone knows otherwise he'll look like an idiot. And then a few days ago I watched a movie (The Fugitive) where a similar exchange took place AS YOU CAN SEE
"I don't want you guys using words around me that have no meaning"
