Megaupload is gone, and eventually I believe so will other sites.
So today (and hopefully throughout this day) we will play a game.

If you spent a day in jail for every song, video, book etc.. you illegal downloaded/Pirated etc.. (or didnt pay for) how many days, weeks, months, years, decades, century etc.. would you spend in jail.

Chart:
Every Song is One Day in Jail.
Every Book is Two Days in Jail
Every Movie is Three Days in Jail
Every Game is Five Days in Jail
Any other Misc., is One day.

This is throught lifetime dont forget, not just this year, like in your X amounts of years of life haha.
Youtube converting anything you didnt pay for (Even if it wasnt pirated) counts.

If you've pirated just about every song on Itunes or on your account then the goal is to check how many songs you have on Itunes or movies and calculate your jail time. Haha
In your lifetime as well though, you can give rough estimates.

Fun way to see how far sites such as MU has helped us.

I'd spend roughly 7 years of jail time. Haha.
How about you?
fff .w. Far too many. I lose track between music and emulators/ROMS.
Well thank god ZUN doesn't care about the redistribution of his franchise (Touhou), so for musics/songs that subtracts about half a year.

Regardless, unless I'm immortal, I'll be in there forever.

File sharing sites are not going down, you will be able to pirate still so don't get your panties in a bunch.

People are just fighting back against the profiting off of Piracy part, Megaupload actually has evidence against Pirating off of Piracy.

A filesharing site in the Ukraine was also shut down by the Ukraine Government... which is really surprising as the government offices have evidence of their own offices pirating software.

If you pirate Music, movies, videogames, ect: this is not the end of Pirating, this is not the end of file sharing, not all the websites can be targeted if they could and weren't handling their business reasonably Rapid-share would have been gone by now.
Pretty sure I'd only take about fifteen days or so because of my Visual Novels. I convert YouTube videos into MP3 format for my music, so I'm not really stealing music or videos from people. Just borrowing videos to make a copy of them that turns into something else and then returning it.
After spending a couple hundred dollars on CDs and on itunes, I think my 200 days is justified 3nodding

Maybe a year and half or so,
this is on gameboy games and music
I don't pirate games, but from music and movies... approximately 200 years.

Without bothering to exclude any legally free music, because I generally don't organize it in that fashion, I'm looking at about, oh...9373 days, or about 25.6 years. I also have a full rip of every single piece of art in the Ar Tonelico series, which if you give me a day for every one of those, is probably a lifetime or two on its own.

I was a bad reyvateil.

you say that like it's a bad thing wink

On subject, are we talking each individual tracks or complete albums? Cause if it's just tracks then I guess...*does math*....two weeks and two days. The first Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt OST will NEVER come state side regardless of the huge fan following. And 30 bucks for a CD is too god damn much money.
