Glad you liked it! Sponsorships like that are likely to be part of future events, the key being that the sponsorship cannot detract from the event. In this case, we were gonna have candy anyway, so putting a brand on it didn’t change the event. Also, we now have a dedicated events team so that we won’t have to make tradeoffs about doing events vs. building features.

Yes this is a very old quote but I just noticed it.
Apparently butting an S on the candy DID change the event. The whole reason you were addressing this was because of what someone else said about it. "Didn't change the event"? It changed it for me. It went from fun and cute to fun and cashcow.

If you are going to bother responding to the feedback, at least don't be full of crap.
